Individuals
Transitions provides individual therapy services to children and adults. All Transitions therapists are trained to work with clients who have experienced trauma, utilizing one of the many evidence based trauma informed approaches.
Couples
Couples therapy helps couples improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their bond. It focuses on both individual and relational issues, helping partners understand each other better and develop healthier patterns of interaction.
Families
Family therapy can be utilized with all ages to help establish and build strong family bonds, promote healthy communication, adapt to change, grieve together after a trauma, and build trusting relationships
Parents
Circle of Security helps you observe the different ways that children approach you to seek support and make use of your help. It assists you in understanding children when their behavior is causing distress, to you and their peers, and in planning how to meet their needs.
Attachment Behavioral Catch-up (ABC) is a parent/child treatment approach designed to help caregivers provide nurturing care and engage in synchronous interactions with their infants.
Positive Parenting is a 12 week parenting program, delivered individually, which is designed to give the parent an understanding of their parental role, decision making skills, improved relationships and effective use of discipline.
Group
Sexual Awareness (SA) is a 20 week program for adults who have difficulty understanding appropriate sexual boundaries. The participant will gain an understanding of the dynamics and effects of sexual abuse, importance of boundaries, and more.
Sexual Abuse Non-offender group (SANO) is a 12 week program for parents and caregivers of children vulnerable to sexual abuse. The participant will gain an understanding of the dynamics of sexual abuse, protective factors, and early recognition.
SANO-Children with Sexual Behavior Problems (CSBP) is a version of our SANO group with a concentration on children with sexual behavior problems. NOW ACCEPTING REFERRALS.
Navigating your DHS case is a group which provides each adult referred by DHS with information about DHS, Family court, and how to get a successful outcome. COMING SOON.
Anger Management is a 20 week program for adults who have difficulty managing anger. Participants will gain an understanding of the dynamics of anger, aggression, healthy communication, and boundaries. They will learn acceptable ways of expressing anger.
Boundary Project: This is a group for children with sexual behavior problems which promotes a healthy safe and nurturing home and school environment; encourages identification and expression of affect; corrects cognitive distortions; increases awareness of behavior causes; encourages social interactions; addresses history of abuse; improves communication between the child and caregivers; and teaches healthy coping strategies and alternative behaviors.

Making Sense of Your Worth is a virtual, eight-week processing group that helps participants heal from shame, trauma, and low self-worth by building secure attachment and identity. This group is available in three formats: general adult, teen, and a version specifically for survivors of domestic violence. A $30 materials fee applies.
General adult group designed for individuals working through attachment wounds, people-pleasing, or low self-esteem.
Teen group that is developmentally tailored to support adolescents with identity development and self-worth.
Domestic violence survivor group- provides a validating space for participants to safely process their experiences and begin rebuilding a healthy self-concept.
Telehealth
Telehealth refers to the delivery of healthcare services remotely, using electronic communication technologies like video conferencing, phone calls, or online portals. It allows patients to connect with healthcare providers without needing to be physically present in an office. Transitions utilizes HIPAA compliant platforms such as ZOOM to deliver services to adolescents, adults, couples families and groups.
